Making the best of the rest of 2020

2020 has been challenging. For many, we are grateful to near the end. But there is still time to make the most of this year and experience personal growth.

To say this year has been filled with challenges and anxiety would be a massive understatement!  But 2020 doesn’t have to be a total wash.  As we roll into the last quarter of the year, there are a few things you can do to make the most of what’s left of an interesting year.

Focus on your growth mindset.  Is your mindset fixed?  Do you believe there is nothing you can do to change who you are or your position in life?  Or do you believe that what you are capable of is largely determined by your determination and effort?  Take the next few months to learn something new and try something you have always wanted.

Make daily changes.  Each day you need to be doing things a little differently if you want to change tomorrow.  How much time are you spending each day doing things you love vs things that bring you down?  Are there ways to reduce the things that are bringing you down to make tomorrow better?  How can you do more of the things you love? More pieces of advice here.

Grow from trauma.  This past year has impacted us in significant ways.  Trauma can either set people back or bring about some really positive changes.  People can use the experience as an opportunity to grow and find new meaning and opportunity in their lives.
