Ways to get people traveling again

According to a study by Allianz, 58% of respondents said they would feel safe traveling again with an effective vaccine.  Not surprising, an effective vaccine was more important to those over the age of 65 as compared to those under age 45.  Cleanliness and enhanced safety precautions are other areas travelers want to see travel providers (hotels and airlines) take seriously.

And in an effort to resurrect international business travel, a 72-hour quarantine free trip is being considered.  If you are traveling internationally and will be in your destination for less than 72 hours with limited interaction, the European Union Aviation Safety Agency and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (EASA/ECDC) are considering whether quarantine upon arrival is necessary.  By eliminating the quarantine requirement for short stays, they are confident they can help take steps to revive an industry that has been decimated.
